Here you can discover the live creative briefs for the upcoming 2019/20 programme — collectively representing some of the most urgent and diverse communication challenges across culture and commerce.

In light of current concerns around COVID-19, we have decided to extend the deadline for our 2019/20 Student Award programme, and we will be accepting submissions up till 5pm (GMT) on Thursday 9th April.

From inspiring people to recycle their food waste, to putting the Guardian on the radar of students; from enlivening the homes of Camden Town Breweries' customers to driving social change at street level fo Shelter — this year's collection of live creative briefs will challenge you to demonstrate your most diverse and transformative thinking.

The briefs are open to anyone studying, or to have recently graduated anywhere in the world. The deadline for entries is 9th April 2020 and, as always, entries will be judged by the organisations to have written the briefs — before Commendations are announced in June 2020. And if your work is Commended, we'll see you at our next colourful and congratulatory awards exhibition and ceremony in the autumn.
